The Ticker: Woodruff, Facebook, Bloomberg ‘Titans’

  • ABC News’ Bob Woodruff will interview President Obama today in advance of a dinner honoring veterans of the Iraq war. Pieces of the interview will air tonight on “ABC World News” and “Nightline,” and tomorrow on “Good Morning America.”
  • Facebook has launched new brand pages, and among the first brands to take advantage of the new look is NBC’s “Today.” The “Timeline” feature lets users look back on 60 years of the show. Other media companies to participate include the New York Times and ESPN.
  • The New York Times reviews the Bloomberg TV series “Titans at the Table,” and the response is positive. “That’s Wall Street talk, which doesn’t always translate well to a family in foreclosure in Florida or a shop owner facing Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Nevada. But it matches the patois of Bloomberg TV, which celebrates profit and tries to humanize the markets.”
