> Politico's Michael Calderone reports hip-hop star Nas will be delivering a petition to Fox News tomorrow at 2pmET, urging the network to "stop its racist smears against the Obamas and other Black Americans." In unrelated news, Nas' new album, which blasts FNC, dropped last week.

> CNBC's special on China, "The People's Republic of Profit," hosted by Melissa Lee, premieres July 30 at 9pmET. This is not to be confused with Ted Koppel's China special, "The People's Republic of Capitalism," from earlier this month.

The parenting guide consists of several activities, including recommended pre-viewing and post-viewing discussion questions to spur dialogue on the topics covered in Wednesday's and Thursday's reports.

> Wedding bells for Fox Business Network DC correspondent Rich Edson. He was married yesterday to his Dumont, NJ high school sweetheart Cheryl Cappiello. The new Mrs. Edson begins a master's program at Georgetown this fall.

> CNBC announced the new schedule for Fast Money and Mad Money during the Olympics. From August 11-22, Fast Money will air 1-1:30pmET, and 1-2pmET on Fridays. Mad Money airs 1:30-2:00pmET (Monday-Thursday), and for a full hour at 11pmET.

> Madonna's brother, Christopher Ciccone is taking his tell-all book to FNC's Hannity & Colmes tonight, in a cable exclusive. He was on ABC's Good Morning America yesterday and today.

> CNBC and CNBC Asia anchor Christine Tan is profiled by the Straits Times of Singapore. "I do not think I got here because of looks. Good looks may make people notice you and may open doors but for the doors to be fully open, you really have to work hard," she says.

> We usually leave the news about newspapers to the Fishbowls, but today's departure of two honchos at Sam Zell publications (editor Ann Marie Lipinski at the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times publisher David Hiller) is big news across the media world. > ABC's Dan Harris went to Haiti and found out he could buy a child slave in less than a half a day. "Within ten hours of leaving ABC News headquarters in New York City, hidden cameras captured three separate offers made to Harris for the sale of a ten year old child slave." The Nightline investigation airs tomorrow night.

> With all the buzz about Madonna and A-Rod, Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone, will be appearing on Good Morning America July 14 and 15. He'll plug his new book, "Life with My Sister Madonna," which the material girl is reportedly none too happy about.

> GMA's Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts are the cover girls of August's Ladies Home Journal. The photo shoot was done just five days after Roberts had her final radiation treatment for breast cancer.
