The Ticker: FBN, ABC, CNBC...

> The New York Times' Brian Stelter writes about the new FBN day time schedule, effective today. Some notable changes: new anchor Brian Sullivan is slotted for two hours (from 10-NoonET) with Dagen McDowell and two new programs, titled "Countdown to the Closing Bell," and, "Fox Business Bulls & Bears," will be anchored by Liz Claman (at 3pmET) and Claman and David Asman (at 4pmET).

> ABCNews.com launches the first part in their special web sieres "A Global Scandal: Black Market Babies," today. ABC News correspondents will report from China, India, Guatemala and Vietnam for the series.

> CNBC's Fast Money is hitting the road — the program will broadcast from Chicago on Friday. Guests scheduled for the broadcast include Terry Duffy, Executive Chairman of CME Group and Playboy CEO Christie Hefner.

The Ticker: Road Trip, Bomb Damage, Back Home...

> The Early Show and the Evening News are teaming up next week for a week-long series called "Eye on the Road." CBS News correspondents Nancy Cordes and Jeff Glor, will begin road trips Monday morning, nearly 3,000 thousand miles apart, to highlight the impact of rising gas prices. Cordes heads west from Central Park. Glor heads east from the Golden Gate bridge.

> The BBC's Baghdad bureau was damaged today after insurgents fired rockets into the Green Zone. It "struck the roof of the BBC Baghdad bureau," the bureau chief said. "It caused structural damage but no one was injured."

> CNN correspondent Dan Rivers has returned from Myanmar where he was one of the very few international journalists reporting on the devastation from Cyclone Nargis. He talked with CNN International about evading the military government so he could continue filing reports.

> Tonight on Newsnight (10pmET on BBC America) diplomatic editor Mark Urban travels to Kabul, Afghanistan and talks with two suicide bombers as part of a special investigation into border security and the growing threat posed by the bombers.

> Newsday reports FNC anchor Sean Hannity is on the way to becoming neighbors with his boss, Rupert Murdoch. Two real estate sources confirm that Hannity bought an 8.5 million dollar mansion on Centre Island on April 30.

> MobileContentToday reports that even though NBC shows are no longer available on iTunes, some are going to be available free on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

> Sen. Barack Obama makes an appearance in the The Situation Room today. It'll be his first national TV interview since the Indiana and North Carolina primaries.

> CNBC's Carl Quintanilla is in Israel. He'll report on the 60th anniversary of the state through a business perspective; from the Tel Aviv stock exchange to green business, to running a company on the missile-plenty Gaza border.

> FBN's Dagen McDowell is profiled in Southern Beauty magazine. Because she is. (She's from Brookneal, VA). Her personal financial advice: "Keep it simple and keep it cheap. Don't get caught up in too many complicated investments; a few mutual funds are fine."

> The NYTimes' Bill Carter breaks the news that NBC flagship WNBC is launching a 24-hour news network called "New York's Newschannel" this fall. The channel will use existing WNBC personnel who will "undergo extensive retraining, and would likely be working different shifts." WNBC, which had been known as Newschannel 4, recently returned to the brand "News 4 New York."

> This week's PEJ survey finds the Rev. Jeremiah Wright story was covered more heavily (42%) by the press than Sen. Hillary Clinton (41%) last week. The findings are similar to the week of March 17, when the story first began making headlines.
