Three Different Hours, Three Different Winners

During last night’s coverage of the Kentucky and Oregon primaries, something unusual happened: each network claimed first place during three consecutive hours in the A25-54 demo. Fox News won at 7pmET, when Kentucky was called and Brit Hume was anchoring; at 8pm, the time normally occupied by Keith Olbermann, the Olbermann / Chris Matthews-anchored hour gave MSNBC first place; and at 9pmET, normally Larry King‘s slot, but occupied last night with primary coverage, CNN came in first.

Fox News took first in Total Viewers during those hours.
