The Daytime Emmy Awards were televised live on HLN Saturday, and as far as TV news programs go, NBC’s “Today” was the big winner. The program took home two key awards: Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show/Morning Program and Outstanding Morning Show.
Other winners includes “Live! with Regis and Kelly” who took home the Outstanding Talk Show host award, and ABC’s “General Hospital,” which secured five Emmy wins.
