‘Today’s Professionals: Leakers Should Not Be Tolerated
On NBC’s “Today” this morning, one of the topics covered during “Today’s Professionals” was the Fox News “mole.” The panel, comprised of Star Jones, Donny Deutsch and Bobby Flay, all agreed that that leakers and moles should be hunted down and fired.
Anchor Matt Lauer ended the segment by asking “Has anyone here ever been involved in a leak involving me??

The irony of course is that journalists (such as Lauer and many of his “Today” colleagues) rely on leakers and moles all the time for information. If a company or public official is engaged in illegal or unethical practices, one would hope that an employee would step up and help shine light on the matter.
