Turner’s First Trip To The No-Spin Zone

For the first time in the history of The O’Reilly Factor, one of FNC’s more vocal critics, CNN founder Ted Turner, appeared as a guest.

The edited interview, which was conducted two days ago, began with Bill O’Reilly asking Turner whether he regrets comparing FNC to Hitler in 2005.

“Well maybe it might have been a little strong,” said Turner.

“I think that you underestimated Fox News and its appeal to traditional Americans,” said O’Reilly.

“That’s true,” said Turner. “And I also say in [my book] that I knew that was our most vulnerable spot before I even went on the air with CNN, that a right wing network would pose a threat.”
