Twin Girls For Carl Quintanilla

It’s a girl…and a girl for CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla and wife Judy Chung, a former CNBC and MSNBC producer.

Chung gave birth this morning to the couple’s first children, fraternal twins Ava Jane and Lily Anna Quintanilla. Ava weighs 4 pounds, 8 ounces. Lily is 3 pounds, 3 ounces.

“As a first time parent,” Quintanilla tells TVNewser, “I can only say it’s everything my friends and family have described — times 1,000.”

June 17 is turning out to be the key date for the Quintanilla family — today is also Carl and Judy’s fourth wedding anniversary. The new dad also says the births came “just in time for Father’s Day.”
