Two New CNN Executive Producers: David Doss To ’360,’ Victor Neufeld To ‘Zahn Now’

Yesterday I asked: “Do Anderson Cooper 360 and Paula Zahn Now have new Executive Producers?” When I asked Cooper earlier this week, he played dumb, but now Broadcasting & Cable has confirmed it: David Doss is taking over 360 and Victor Neufeld will lead Paula Zahn Now.

B&C says CNN prez Jon Klein “has been working furiously on the network’s programming and personnel,” and “among his priorities is remaking the executive producer ranks.” Doss has been EP of Primetime Thursday and NBC Nightly News; Neufeld has been EP of The Early Show, 20/20 and Primetime Thursday…

> Update: 7:20pm: “The hires will be charged with leading a ratings turnaround in the heart of CNN’s primetime,” Variety says.

> Update: 8pm: “Zahn staffers haven’t been told about a new EP yet,” an anonymous tipster says…
