Vikings-Eagles Earns 15.2 Overnight Rating
Based on the overnight ratings, the NFL might want to look into football on Tuesday night.
Last night’s special edition of Sunday Night Football between the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles earned a 15.2 overnight rating and 24 share.
It’s an increase of 31 percent compared to last year’s Week 16 game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins, which delivered a 11.6 rating and 19 share.
While Sunday Night Football has been a ratings juggernaut all season, the real test will come on Sunday when St. Louis travels to Seattle (yawn) to determine the NFC West division title.
