Erica Hill co-hosted her first Weekend “Today” show this morning alongside longtime anchor Lester Holt. And, as has become a tradition at “Today”, Holt paused, and replayed the “…and Erica Hill” voiceover. “That has a nice ring to it. I’m not going to lie,” said Hill, adding “It’s really an honor to join this program.” Hill and Holt anchored from NBC’s Democracy Plaza, home of NBC’s election night coverage. We’ll be heading over there Monday night to give you a closer look ahead of Tuesday’s election. On Friday’s show, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales welcomed the former CNN and CBS News anchor to NBC.
