What’s Next For Henry Schleiff?

What will Henry Schleiff do after serving as “non-executive chairman” of Court TV? If Marianne Paskowski knows, she’s not telling. She has “gotten to know him quite well over the years,” and in TV Week she writes:

“Mr. Schleiff truly enjoyed the limelight, and under his leadership the network’s scale doubled by nearly every yardstick, including its reach in cable households, its ratings and advertising sales, since he took the reins nearly eight years ago. He hired and nurtured a strong staff and let them do their jobs and shine.

In his new corporate role, I cannot imagine him becoming just another behind-the-scenes suit. Given his feisty temperament and his love of being squarely in the public eye, I say the jury is still out in terms of his next role in the television business.”
