Where Are You Watching the Debate?
President Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney are having a spirited debate — their first of three — that has focused on the economy. At one point in discussing his economic plan, Romney said he’d make cuts if a program required borrowing from China. Looking toward moderator Jim Lehrer, Romney said, “I’m sorry, Jim. I will stop the subsidy to PBS. I like PBS. I love Big Bird. I actually like you. But I’m not going to keep spending money on things to borrow from China.”
