Which TV News Anchors and Hosts Had Lunch With President Obama Today?
This afternoon, as is tradition, President Barack Obama had lunch at the White House with a bevy of journalists, including anchors and hosts for the broadcast and cable news channels.
So, who attended?
Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith spilled (some of) the beans:
Michael Calderone at The Cutline has a good roundup of the attendees. Among them: Brian Williams from NBC News, Katie Couric from CBS News, George Stephanopoulos and Diane Sawyer from ABC News.
On the cable side, Smith and his colleague Bret Baier from Fox News Channel were in attendance, as was MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
