Women in the World Gather in NYC

Where can you find Christiane Amanpour, Lesley Stahl, Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, Juju Chang, Mika Brzezinski, Diane Sawyer and Campbell Brown all in one place?

They’ll all be participating in The Daily Beast’s Women In The World summit this weekend.

New York’s Hudson Theatre is the location for a three-day-long gathering of women in business, the media, politics, and entertainment. In addition to the tvnewsers, also on hand will be Queen Rania of Jordan, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Cherie Blair, Meryl Streep, Diane von Furstenberg and Valerie Jarrett.

This weekend’s summit will focus on the global challenges facing today’s women, from equal rights and education to human slavery, literacy, and the power of the media and technology to affect change in women’s lives.
