Write-in Vote For The Young Turks: We Hear You

Ever since we re-posted the MSNBC 10pm host poll yesterday, we began receiving emails and comments asking why Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks wasn’t on the list.

It turns out a blog post on the Turks Website directed fans to email and request their inclusion. Uygur is the host of The Young Turks, a live, daily internet radio show.

In addition to the 100+ emails/comments, Uygur emailed us as well. “We are going to seriously compete for that position,” writes Uygur. “Of course, I don’t know for sure that we will get it because we are considerable underdogs…But I can guarantee you that we will be on the board.” Here’s Uygur announcing his “candidacy” for the job.

Well, since we can’t change the poll now, we’ll keep you in mind for future polls. And — we hear you.
