Your Odd Interview of the Day: Rep. Sheila Jackon-Lee on ‘Your World with ‘Neil Cavuto’

In one of the odder interview moments of late, Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Texas) had a staffer hold a large photograph of a woman in a hospital bed behind her during an appearance on “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on Fox News.

Jackson-Lee was speaking to Cavuto from the Capitol Rotunda, a regular spot for lawmakers to do stand-ups with the networks, but when she appeared onscreen, it looked as though she was sitting on a hospital bed… until the background moved and other people could be seen off to the right.

Update: Video after the jump!

Jackson-Lee: I am standing in front of a picture of a senior citizen who had pneumonia and if not for the constitutionally protected medicare she might have truly under certain circumstances lost her life. There are people would have been living with agree existing conditions who now will be able to have insurance, people with chronic illnesses, including an individual we saw yesterday by the name of Ed would be worried about his medical care with lifetime caps.
