It’s the start of a long weekend here in the U.S., and you’re like us, you may be having a tough time concentrating as you go about your day tweeting and such.
Or you may be one of those easily distracted types who has trouble focusing regardless of the day.
If either case applies – and particularly if you work from home – we think we’ve found the answer to your problems. Well, someone else did, but we’re sharing it here.
Coffitivity provides “Ambient sounds to boost your workday creativity!”
According to these clever folks, “Research shows it’s pretty hard to be creative in a quiet space.” But a loud workplace isn’t the answer either – IT can be frustrating and distracting.
So what can one do? Find a good mix, of course – and Coffivity does does that. It’s a “mix of calm and commotion in an environment like a coffee house” – and it’s “proven to be just what you need to get those creative juices flowing.”
Does it work? Yes! I’ve been using it and love it.
Just be sure to follow their advice and turn Coffivity to a reasonable volume, keeping it just below the volume of any music you may have playing:
