Would you like to spend an afternoon dining with Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey and seven of your closest friends?
Well, if you have five grand (at least), you can get in on the bidding to win a date to dine with Dorsey! And even better? It will benefit a worthy cause.
Here are the auction details:
Jack Dorsey, one of the most successful entrepreneurs of our time, will host lunch for you and seven of your friends at his newest business, Square, to benefit BUILD and its programs on a mutually agreed upon date. The lunch will be up for bid on eBay beginning May 6, 2013 at 7:00 pm PST and close May 16, 2013 at 7:00pm PST.
All bidders must pre-qualify. The opening bid is $5,000
The lunch will take place at Dorsey’s “other” business, Square, at its headquarters in San Francisco.
Dorsey isn’t keeping any of the money, FYI. “100% of proceeds from the winning bid will benefit BUILD, a national organization focused on addressing the ever-increasing dropout rate of this country’s high school students.”
Curious what Build is about? Here’s “the big idea:”
