How To Follow #MarchMadness On Twitter

If you’re all about basketball, Twitter is the place for you. According to Twitter, there are over 400 players on Twitter, representing nearly 90% of the NBA.

But wait, we said NCAA not NBA! Yes, don’t worry – Twitter has those teams too. And they’ve made following all of them easy.

Twitter wants you to experience NCAA basketball in a whole new way.

Find your conference and follow your team. Before each game, get behind the scenes insights from the teams. During the games, see photos and videos tweeted from fans at the coliseum. After the final buzzer, celebrate or commiserate with the teams and fans around the world.

And if you just love basketball in general and want to follow NBA teams AND players, Twitter has you covered there too.

For example, if you’re from Boston and love the Celtics, you can follow the team, or check out the player list to follow individual players – or the entire list!

Twitter promises “breaking news, behind-the-scenes stories, starting lineups, exclusive photos and insights from the teams.”

And best of all (unofficially) – lots of smack talking.

So what are you waiting for? Follow your teams! It will be interesting to see if they make a bigger splash this year over last year.
