The 10 Most Used Smartphone Apps In The World [CHART]
Using data published by GlobalWebIndex, Statista created the following chart to rank the current 10 most used smartphone apps across the globe.
Google Maps is the most used smartphone app in the world: 54% of global smartphone owners used Google’s navigation app in the month preceding the survey.
Facebook’s app ranks second with 44% of smartphone owner share, and Twitter comes in at #6 with 22% of smartphone owners using the mobile app.
And it’s worth noting that YouTube and Google+ are ranked third and fourth, illustrating Google’s dominant role in the mobile marketplace.
