Twitter is expanding its sales and marketing branch, and fast.
The company has just posted 12 new positions on its job board, all for its Dublin and London offices.
Since confirming that Dublin would be its international headquarters, Twitter has been pushing hard to expand its European presence.
It launched an office in Germany in January of this year, and before that opened its London office. And, the company is busy working on UK and European businesses to get their advertising dollars, after announcing that Promoted Products would be available in the UK this past September.
The dozen new jobs that Twitter posted are all at its international headquarters in Dublin or its London office, and they’re mostly sales related. The company is looking for sales managers and account executives. They’re specifically looking for account executives able to break into the Netherlands, Spain, and UK/Ireland markets.
And, of course, to let interested sales folk know about these new positions, the company sent out a tweet from its UK Twitter account:

As Sociable reports, Twitter currently employs about five individuals at its Dublin office – meaning that the six or so new employees would more than double the size of the office.
