The long NBA basketball season has come and gone for another year, and, appropriately, the NBA Finals came down to the wire, with the Miami Heat beating the San Antonio Spurs 4-3 in the best-of-seven series to secure their second-consecutive NBA Championship.
Overall, more than 26.7 million tweets were sent throughout the Finals, with game seven alone generating 7.4 million tweets, peaking at a heady 150,000 tweets per minute (TPS).
And while the Heat won the title, it was the Spurs who had the edge on Twitter activity going into the final game.
