Couric Partners With WUSA 9 For Susan G. Komen National Race For The Cure

    CBS News anchorwoman Katie Couric will take part in W*USA 9 NEWS NOW’s live coverage of this year’s Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure to be held Saturday, June 2nd on the National Mall in Washington D.C, the station announced today.

    In addition to appearing with W*USA 9 anchors Andrea Roane and Mike Walter during the Gannett-owned D.C. station’s Komen National Race live coverage that morning, she will also serve as an emcee and kick-off the 5K Race event, providing a motivational boost to the expected 50,000-plus runners participants who will be at the starting line.
