Flynn and Hannity Criticize Media for ‘Deafening Silence”

Big Government’s Mike Flynn had a breezy interview on FNC’s “Hannity” with host Sean Hannity Monday night. The appearance centered on the story Flynn first posted Monday on the conservative website regarding Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-N.C.) manhandling a college student.

During the interview Flynn railed on Etheridge’s behavior, saying, “Within a nano-second he tried to grab the camera out of the kid’s hands.” He questioned the rationale of Etheridge’s reaction, saying, “You keep walking and we wouldn’t be talking about this.”

Flynn and Hannity were like two peas in a pod when it came to attacking other media. Flynn slammed another network, saying, “one of your competitors with very low ratings…started attacking the people who shot the video.” He named no names. Hannity remarked that when ex-Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) made the “Macaca” comment, WaPo was all over it. But not this story. “The media’s silence on this is deafening,” Flynn agreed.

(At the time of this post there have been 618 stories on Etheridge in the past 24 hours from Seattle to Kansas and Washington, D.C. WaPo ran an item in today’s Reliable Source bearing the main question, “Who filmed it?”)

At the close, Hannity signed off, saying, “Tell Breitbart we said hi.” (Hannity was referring to Flynn’s boss, Andrew Breitbart who runs the blog, BigGovernment.com.)
