George Preps to Interview the R’s

Over the next several weeks, ABC “GMA” co-anchor George Stephanopoulos will get to once again flex his political muscles and conduct several interviews with possible 2012 Republican candidates. On Sunday he appeared on the show he formerly hosted, “This Week.”

The GOP “short-list” will discuss their latest books, heath care, taxes, foreign policy, and thoughts on a potential 2012 run. The ABC release indicates “GMA” will interview many leading contenders over the next few months. More guests to be announced soon.

January 11: Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty
January 13: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie
February 1: Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney
February 21: Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee
