Some of news media’s biggest names will attend tonight’s State Dinner at the White House. We told you earlier that CBS’ Katie Couric was on the guest list and TVNewser added ABC’s Robin Roberts and NBC’s Brian Williams to the mix. So, what is the White House feeding our favorite journos?

An inside source just sent us tonight’s menu. Guests will nosh on:

Potato and eggplant salad, white house arugula with onion seed vinaigrette.

Red lentil soup with fresh cheese.

Roasted potato dumplings with tomato chutney, chick peas and okra. Or
Green curry prawns and caramelized salsify with smoked collard greens and coconut aged basmati.

Pumpkin pie tart, pear tatin, whipped cream and caramel sauce.
