  • An NPR release states that “NPR News has been chosen for a 2007 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award for its coverage of Iraq.” Thirty NPR “journalists were named for the prestigious award.”

  • An NBC release announces that “NBC Nightly News” and “Dateline NBC” have also been awarded an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award “for breaking news and sustained coverage of Hurricane Katrina and the impact of the storm.”

  • A reader notes, “How about that, Roll Call has a Politico on Page 29 of today’s paper. Is that Jack Smith in the doorway? See, even Roll Call knows Politicos are everywhere!”
