White House Changes Wednesday’s Press Conference To 8pmET

The White House just announced in a press release that President Obama’s press conference this Wednesday will now be at 8pmET, instead of at 9pmET, as previously announced on Twitter. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs also made this announcement at the top of the daily briefing.

RELATED: CBS announced today that it will carry the press conference, anchored by Katie Couric. No other network has made an announcement either way yet.

>>UPDATE: ABC announced around 5:30pmET that the network will carry the President’s press conference. Charlie Gibson will anchor from NY with chief Washington correspondent and This Week‘s George Stephanopoulos and White House correspondent Jake Tapper in Washington.

>>UPDATE MORE: NBC will also carry the press conference on the network, anchored by Brian Williams.
