CEO Peter Liguori, formerly with FOX Broadcasting, Discovery Communications and OWN, “What changes can loyal KTLA viewers expect?”, he answered the best possible programming and some real risk-taking. Shortly thereafter, Calvin intoned: “So stay tuned as KTLA, Tribune and you continue making media history!”
Liguori and the rest of the newly constituted seven-member Tribune board met for the first time yesterday in Los Angeles. The company, which Liguori delightfully dubs “a 165-year-old startup,” encompasses 23 TV stations in 19 markets and a dozen metropolitan newspapers including the LA Times.
