Condé Nast Launches Subscriptions for iPad New Yorker

The rumors were true: Condé Nast has launched subscriptions for the iPad. Beginning today, readers can use Apple’s system to subscribe to The New Yorker, with the rest of Conde’s titles - Vanity Fair, Glamour, Golf Digest, Allure, Wired, Self and GQ – coming soon.

The New Yorker subscriptions are as follows: $5.99 per month (four issues) or $59.99 per year for access to the iPad and website editions. Print and all digital components are available for $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year.

Subscriptions for the other Conde magazines will be $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year.

Conde beat Hearst to the punch, but now the real fight begins. Let’s check back after about a year and see who’s winning, because that will be something worth boasting about.
