Layoffs Come to The Daily News

We have more Daily News action before the weekend begins. Capital New York reports that layoffs have hit the paper, leaving “a handful” of staffers and photographers without jobs. While Jennifer Mauer, the Daily News’ Spokesperson, declined to comment, things are obviously still very unsettled at the company.

UPDATE:
A few of the people who have been let go include veteran Bob KappstatterFrank Lombardi, Scott Shifrel, Kate Lucadamo and John Roca.
