People Hopes for The Kim Kardashian Effect

For some reason, a lot of people seem to irrationally hate Kim Kardashian, but FishbowlNY doesn’t. As we’ve said in the past, the woman can move magazines. When she is featured on the cover, it instantly becomes a best-seller.

Call it The Kim Kardashian Effect. People is hoping for the Effect when it releases the issue that covers her wedding tomorrow, especially since it paid $1.5 million for an opportunity to publish the photos.

WWD points out that the pictures aren’t exactly big news now that several other outlets have published video and details of the event (Lindsay Lohan’s outfit was just outrageous!) but we’re betting this issue will be a hit.

And if you think we’re buttering her up for when she eventually moves to Brooklyn, we have no comment.
