The New York Giants arrive in Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI next week, and WCBS/Channel 2 will be there for extensive coverage leading up to the Big Game.
Sports anchor Otis Livingston kicks off Channel 2′s week-long coverage reporting from Indianapolis for the 11 p.m. newscast Sunday night.
WCBS’ Super Bowl preparations will show off a new face at the station. Lisa Kerney makes her debut as weekday morning sports reporter. She most recently served as MLB Network anchor and reporter.
Back to Indy, anchor Chris Wragge, a lifelong Giants fan, reports live during the morning, and the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. broadcasts.
Additionally, WCBS is bringing its high-tech Mobile2 vehicle to Indianapolis. Veteran reporter Jennifer McLogan will take the trip in the unit, while reporter Derricke Dennis will be based in Boston to hear from New England Patriots fans.
WCBS culminates its Giants coverage with the special Road to Glory from Indianapolis, Saturday, February 4 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Super Bowl XLVI airs Sunday February 5 on NBC.
