Did you know that there are over 150 million blogs on the internet, and around 175,000 new blogs are added to the web daily.
So, here’s the big question: how do you make yours stand out?
Start by including engaging images, as articles with photos get 94 percent more views. Use a clean design and layout, optimising your blog for desktop, mobile and tablet viewers.
Have a unique voice – write conversationally, use short sentences and let your perspective shine through. Connect your blog to multiple social media outlets (Twitter loves blogs), include a direct call to action in your posts and, perhaps most importantly, go against the grain. Not much point saying the same things as those other 150 million bloggers.
