With Suspicious Timing, Twitter Suspends @ceoSteveJobs Parody Account
On the same day that Apple is expected to announce iPad 2, Twitter has suspended the very popular and laugh-out-loud funny Steve Jobs parody account, @ceoSteveJobs.
Okay – so the profile broke the rules, and when pressed didn’t fully comply with Twitter’s parody guidelines. But come on, Twitter. And come on Apple. This was some of the good stuff. Why so serious?
@ceoSteveJobs last few tweets, and some highlights from the timeline history, have been preserved below for future generations. Who will hopefully be equipped with a better sense of humour.
