How To Optimize Your Images For Twitter's In-Stream Photo Preview [INFOGRAPHIC]

Twitter’s a much more visual place these days, thanks to the new in-stream image preview that expands photos in tweets without users having to click on them.

But how do you make sure the image you include in a tweet is optimized for your followers so nothing important is cut off the top or bottom and you’re maximizing your visual real estate?

Bear in mind the dimensions of the Twitter image preview are 440 x 220 px, kind of like a mini Facebook cover photo. So square images don’t work great. You’re going for a 2:1 ratio.
