Interview Magazine Seeks Interim Managing Editor

Summer jobs don’t get any better than this. Interview magazine has a great opportunity for a managing editor to join its New York team for the next two to three months. The position is freelance, but you never know what kind of doors could open for you at the end of your assignment.

The chosen one will oversee the day-to-day duties of the editorial office, including managing staff, budgets and story development. Of course, you’ll also be the liaison between each department, and be responsible for assigning stories, editing pieces and producing compelling packages. If you have what it takes to land the position, this will be like second nature for you.

Those with two to three years of experience as a senior-level editor or managing editor are most wanted. You should be familiar with Interview‘s style and voice, and have a deep knowledge of and passion for pop culture, art and fashion. Interested? Apply here.
