Marissa Mayer Named CEO of Yahoo
Marissa Mayer, a woman who helped Google transform GMail and Google Maps into must-use web products, is Yahoo’s new CEO. Mayer had been with Google since 1999.
According to The New York Times, Mayer’s first day at Yahoo is tomorrow. Mayer called Yahoo, “One of the best brands on the Internet” and, because of that, she says leaving Google was an easy decision.
