Rupert Murdoch Isn’t a Mitt Romney Fan

It’s probably safe to safe to say that Rupert Murdoch will never invite Mitt Romney to enjoy the Slip N Slide in his backyard. Murdoch doesn’t like Romney, and — according to The New York Times — it all started back in 2007, when Romney met with the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal.

During the meeting Romney tried his best, but left Murdoch and Paul Gigot, the Journal’s editorial page editor, unimpressed. Those icy feelings have continued. “I don’t think he ever got excited about Romney,” said one “Murdoch associate,” to the Times. “There was zero enthusiasm, no engagement,” added a Journal staffer, regarding the most recent meeting between Murdoch and Romney.

Despite all this, Murdoch still considers Romney better than Obama:
