That didn’t take long. Within an hour or so of President Obama’s confirmation of the death of Osama bin Laden, the comedic shadow of the deceased al-Qaida leader materialized on Twitter as @BinLadensGhost:
Right now, the evil specter follows just four people – Geraldo Rivera, Fox News, Obama, and the apparent author of the account, Connecticut computer whiz Matthew Sabia. This ghost may be one of the first, but he certainly won’t be the last. If Twitter has proved anything, it is that there is always room for competing posthumous yuk-yuks.
To wit, there is also the much more successful out-of-the-grave Twitter feed @GhostOsama.
