Earlier this year, GalleyCat interviewed debut novelist Josh Bazell about his pre-sell visits to booksellers for his novel, "Beat the Reaper."

It must have worked--Variety reports the novel is being adapted into a film by two veteran screenwriters who work with director Steven Soderbergh.
