Borders Is Giving Away eBooks

The eBook wars continue. Borders is giving away free eBooks to people who download the new Borders eBooks app today through Wednesday July 14th.

Earlier this week Borders opened an eBookstore.

The free books include: Dean Koontz’s Frankenstein: Prodigal Son, One Shot by Lee Child, The Alchemyst by Michael Scott, Julia Child’s Julia’s Kitchen Wisdom and Master your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels.

Like Barnes & Noble, Borders is also giving away exclusive content. For example, readers can access chapter 6 of Danielle Steel’s upcoming novel Legacy, which goes on sale Sept. 28.
