eBook Summit in Twitter, Tumblr & Trades

ebooksummit23.jpgOur second annual eBook Summit concluded on Wednesday, and we’ve started collecting responses from all corners of the publishing world. If you wrote about the event, share the link in the comments–we’ll add them to the list.

Online, Publishers Weekly wrote a long essay about the event. Alternate Reality Gaming Network also published an eBook Summit think piece about transmedia and publishing. UPDATE: VirtualDavis wrote a quote-filled article about the event as well.

On Tumblr, Ami Greko reframed the whole conference through a Douglas Rushkoff quote. Webfiction Daily rounded up their favorite tweets in this post. Follow all the tweets at the eBook Summit hashtag.

Finally, PCMag.com executive editor Dan Costa wrote one of the most popular tweets of the day, pondering new career paths for writers: “I always wanted to be a writer, but I’ll settle for being a transmedia multiplatform content creator. Plus, the pay is better.”
