Today is free cone day at Ben & Jerry’s, so get your Chunky Monkey on from noon to 8p.m.

The groovy ice cream purveyors have been doing the free cone giveaway for some years now, and have added some new flavors to this year’s mix like Late Night Snack, inspired by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and made with vanilla ice cream, caramel, and potato chip clusters; and Bonnaroo Buzz, inspired by the music festival, and made with coffee and malt ice cream, caramel, and English toffee.

Also new this year, a Droid and iPhone app that will lead you to the nearest shop and let you share pics with friends, so they can watch you eat ice cream while they can’t.
