Spin the Agencies of Record

Skyy Spirits has chosen Alison Brod PR as its AOR for Skyy Vodka and Skyy Infusions, the brand’s fruit-flavored vodkas, providing consumer PR, event support, and online awareness. The firm will also work with the X-Rated Fusion and Midori Melon liqueurs. Alison Brod PR was chosen after a review period in which the previous AOR, The Rose Group, was not included. Motista, an on-demand product for marketers, has selected Bateman Group as PR and social media AOR after a competitive review. The firm will work on corporate brand building, messaging and content, analyst relations, media outreach, and a variety of other tasks.

Tips For Adding and Keeping Facebook Fans

Having a voice and using it to speak to fans like a fan is one way to build your brand’s “likes” on Facebook, according to Dave Karraker, director of PR and events for Skyy Spirits.

Ayal Ebert, CEO of DesignPax, a company that creates customized Facebook pages, says design is critical. “Users don’t get to a company’s Facebook page accidentally,” he tells Mediabistro. “They do so intentionally and they have certain expectations, therefore design is crucial whether it’s a major brand or a small business.”
