AKQA Adds Staff on Both Coasts

AKQA announced a handful of new hires in both San Francisco and New York. On the West Coast, the agency welcomed Tom Zukoski (left) as ACD on Xbox. Zukoski arrives from Crispin Porter + Bogusky where he worked on VW, Microsoft and Burger King. Joining him are Chiat alum Kristina Slade, who will serve as creative director on Target and finally former Olson creative Piper Lemons, who will take on the interaction design director post and work across Target and Xbox accounts.

Meanwhile, in the Big Apple, former Attik and CBS Interactive staffer Jung Yi Sin (below) joins as senior interaction designer and will work within the Sprint and Motorola accounts.

With this latest announce, AKQA says it is “hiring beyond digital” by recruiting those with traditional and integrated advertising backgrounds. In a statement, the agency’s US/Asia CCO Rei Inamoto says, “We are creating a level playing field for all varieties of talent and work at AKQA.”
