Bloomberg Makes a (Desperate) Plea to King James

A recent “secret study” conducted by New York City’s Economic Development Corp. revealed that LeBron James would bring nearly $60 million to the Big Apple were he to join the Knicks and bring them a title in a deciding game 7. It’s a fairly ridiculous scenario, we know, but one which seems to have even compelled Mayor Bloomberg to recite a verse from the King James bible in the above clip.

The video is part of a new campaign called “C’mon LeBron,” which was created by BBH and NYC & Co. Along with the video and website, subway commuters will likely notice “C’mon LeBron” stickers plastered on trains and stations in the coming weeks. At least we only have until July folks when he either stays with Cleveland or signs with Chicago.
