Digital Guy Really Wants Wolff Olins Gig, Will Mimic Site to Get It

Marc MacSmith, who worked as a digital producer on Leo Burnett’s Gold Lion-winning “Earth Hour” effort for WWF, seems to really want a gig in L.A. at Wolff Olins (well, they do have clients like Mercedes-Benz and PepsiCo). So, rather than just send the usual resume, he went about to basically replicate the template for their site (which looks rather terrible IMO) using Tumblr and pitch himself to the agency. WO seems to have a sense of humor about it, but who knows if that will land MacSmith a gig. See the images from Macsmith’s site and Wolff Olins’ after the jump. Regardless of his efforts, Macsmith has hardly scratched the surface of what our friend Alec Brownstein achieved. See MacSmith’s homepage and Wolff Olins’ after the jump.
