Energy BBDO Picks up $105 Million for Illinois Lotto

Finally, Chicago is getting some business! Sure, it’s sorta nepotism, but that means nothing today. AgencySpy is told by Energy BBDO rep. Ariane Herrera that the agency’s pick-up of SVP GCD Noel Haan (announced yesterday) isn’t related.

They just found out this morning &#151 isn’t that exciting? Guess that notion that Energy BBDO was set to blow some shit up is kinda coming true. Damn you, whoever said that.

The RFP on this account went out in September, and according to a lottery rep., “three highly-qualified” agencies were up for the account.

Dah! Congrats Chicago.
